  • The entire year is a commitment of two 15 week semesters of contracted classes.
  • Tuition for each semester of contracted classes is NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE to any future classes.
  • Payments are made semi-annually in September and February.
  • Quarterly payments may be an option for families that qualify. In order to qualify for anything other than semester payments a credit card must be kept on file for automatic billing.
  • ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID BY THE SCHEDULED DATES FOR THE STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS, COMPETITION OR RECITAL. All balances over 30 days are subject to a $15.00 late fee and suspension.
  • If the student does not complete the 15 week contracted semester for each hour he/she is enrolled, Accent on Dance WILL NOT REFUND TUITION. TECHNIQUE, ALA CARTE classes are contracted for the full 15 week semesters as well.
  • Accent on Dance does not offer pro-rated tuition reimbursement for any absences. In the event of an extreme injury or long term illness in which the dancer cannot complete the year, credit may be extended to other classes with a doctor’s note.

  • Students are encouraged to attend every class for which they are enrolled. Progress in class is dependent upon regular and consistent participation. Absences may retard progress and may also cause the student to be excluded from the June Production if it interferes with the class as a whole.
  • All students are required to be on time for class and dressed properly. If behavior, attitude, or dress is inappropriate for class, the student will be excused from class that week.
  • We offer two open houses this year for the parents to view classes. This is the only time we have observers.
  • Our reception area is designed to aide parents with business transactions or questions. It is also used to serve any of your supply needs.
  • The volume of our dancers using the studios dictates that we use our square footage to accommodate your child and create a safe and relaxed environment. We do not have a waiting room for parents.
  • The hallway space is to be used by the dancers who are waiting for class to begin for stretching and warm-up.
  • The Student Study/Refreshment Room is the only designated eating area in Accent on Dance. It is to be used by students only. Failure to follow posted rules may result in loss of privilege.
  • Weather cancellations are reported on Channel 4 on your television. A recorded message will also be put on our phone at the studio by 3:00pm for weekday classes and 8:30am for Saturday classes.
  • The second snow day for a specific day can be made up with an ala carte or technique class scheduled through the front desk for dancers in second grade or up. Younger students will be assigned a make up class on a different day and time.
