Lexie Plath is a natural-born performer whose journey began at her grandmother’s studio, Accent On Dance! She started her dance training at just two years old and quickly developed a passion for performing that extended to singing and acting. After high school, she pursued a BFA in Music Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University, where she shined in productions like Kiss Me, Kate, 9 to 5, and Noises Off. Lexie’s professional career took off post-graduation as she traveled the country with the national tour of ANYTHING GOES, choreography by Kathleen Marshall, and the first national tour of Susan Stroman's BULLETS OVER BROADWAY. She has also performed regionally at The Ogunquit Playhouse (BULLETS OVER BROADWAY), The Arvada Center (A CHORUS LINE- Val) and The Fulton Theatre (GUYS AND DOLLS). She went back on the road with the North American Tour of Andy Blankenbuehler's Broadway revival of CATS as “Bombalurina” further establishing her as a versatile and talented performer. She returned to the stage after the pandemic, as the Swing and Dance Captain in the first national tour of THE PROM choreographed by Casey Nicholaw and went on to play Cassie, the truest of true triple threats, in A Chorus Line. Currently based in New York City, Lexie remains deeply connected to her roots as a guest choreographer and teacher at Accent On Dance. Bringing back her wealth of professional experience, she connects students to the vibrant world of professional theater. Lexie excels at instilling grit, confidence, and character in her students, helping them grow as performers both on and off the stage through her workshops and choreography.
