McKenna Plath, a vibrant addition to the AOD team, grew up immersed in the studio’s traditions as the youngest daughter of owners Chris and Kellie Plath. As an AOD student, she excelled on our national elite team and contributed significantly to the team’s success and national titles. She went on to become a standout performer at Western Michigan University and Showcase in New York. McKenna earned her BFA in Musical Theater Performance in 2021, gaining extensive training in dance, acting, and vocal performance. This well-rounded background enhances her teaching, helping students with stage presence, audience engagement, and dynamic routines. Her creative and expressive style develops both technical skills and showmanship.Since joining AOD as a teacher in 2022, McKenna has brought her energy to various classes. Known for high expectations and a focus on fun, she creates an environment where students excel technically and creatively. With a deep connection to AOD’s legacy, McKenna continues to inspire and uplift her students, embodying the studio's commitment to excellence and creativity.
