Emily Sanfilippo-Teacher and Choreographer

Emily Sanfilippo has been a cherished member of the Accent on Dance family since 2003, starting as a passionate student and evolving into an inspiring instructor and proud dance mom. In 2011, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance and choreography from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she had the opportunity to perform in pieces by esteemed choreographers like Ferne Caulker-Bronson, Elizabeth Johnson, Luc Vanier, and guest artist Garth Fagan, a Tony Award winner. Emily's love for dance and her commitment to the art form have come full circle as she now has the privilege of guiding the next generation of dancers at AOD, including her own daughters who have been dancing in her footsteps. With deep gratitude, Emily continues her dance career as a valued member of the AOD faculty, sharing her passion and expertise with us all.
