Nine to Thirteen year old classes
BALLET AND TAP
Enrichment D4: (ages 8-9) Students will be participating in a 1 hour combination class of ballet and tap. The D4 class will receive ballet barre, center floor, and across the floor training. Focus in placed on technique and the understanding of movement. Tap technique and combinations will be taught with focus on correct sounds and rhythm. Students will learn both a ballet and tap dance that will be performed at the recital.

,BALLET TAP AND JAZZ
Enrichment D5: (ages 9-11) Students will be participating in a 1.5 hour combination class of ballet, tap, and jazz. Students will receive ballet barre, center floor, and across the floor training in ballet. Tap class will focus on technique and the understanding of movement while increasing the students “vocabulary” of tap steps with focus on correct sounds and rhythm. Jazz technique and dance combinations also be an exciting part of this class. Students will learn and perform a ballet, tap and jazz dance at the recital.

WEDNESDAY D5: 5:30PM TO 7:00PM (9-11yrs)
Enrichment D6: (ages 11-14) Students will be participating in a 1-1/2hr hour combination class of ballet, tap, and jazz. This class is a great fit for those students that want try dance for the first time or are returning after a break to explore other sports and activities. Students will receive ballet barre, center floor, and across the floor training in ballet. Tap class will focus on technique and the understanding of movement while increasing the students “vocabulary” of tap steps with focus on correct sounds and rhythm. Jazz technique and dance combinations also be an exciting part of this class. Students will perform 2 or 3 dances at the recital.
